What a grape day sounds like

Take a tour through the wine route of the Rhine Valley wine regions of the Rheingau & Rheinhessen. Learn about the king of white wines.... Riesling. Along the way, we will stop at award-winning, historically significant, Grand Cru German vineyards from noble Riesling estates to lime stone rolling hills of Rheinhessen. We will travel through small historic villages along the Rhine River as it curves its way down to Ruedesheim. There will be great examples along the way of how German wine traditions have been passionately crafted into world class wines. You will have many opportunities to swirl, sniff and slurp German Sparkling wine, Riesling and other top varieties guided by the makers. With all those tastings we will need to stay balanced with a stop to try delicious food specialties. Tour Highlights: * Hotel pick up and drop off Frankfurt or Mainz area. Tours start around 10:30 based on first wine tasting * 3 wine tastings - tasting a variety of 8+ wines per tasting * Cellar tour (when available due to wine work) * Local lunch of wine tapas, regional dishes with wine * Water and snacks along the way * All tasting fees included    * Service shipping wines for you (not inc shipping costs - avg €12-14 per bottle) Get in touch for pre season booking offers !!!! Open wines & open minds! It can be during the busier travel times that I have to manage many thirsty requests of wine lovers coming to Germany. I always keep my groups small (max 7p ) usually its just another wine-loving couple who share your thirst! I always consider individual requests and keep it personal. PLEASE NOTE: If you WISH YOUR DAY TO BE A PRIVATE TOUR. An additional fee based on seasonal demand may be requested starting at €300 based on group size. An additional pick up fee maybe also requested based on more distant locations
