Take a grape escape to the special and unique wine region of Alsace. Alsace is the hidden gem of the french wine regions offering a unique mix of wine varieties at amazing price quality. It's a mix of the best of German and french cultures. And that is literally rich in history and landscapes and unique Alsace culture. It's a wine region that pioneers in sustainable winemaking focused on ripe Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and amazing price quality value Pinot Noir and Cremant The Alsace also boasts many villages that have been awarded the best villages in France you must visit. On tour we will visit some of the most charming villages in the heart of the Alsace wine region about 60km south of Strasbourg close to Colmar. On tour we will find some amazing vineyard views, go deep in the cellar and have an in depth tasting of wines at 2- 3 wineries based on how the wine flows and your thirst. After all the wine we will stop for an Alsace french feast at a local bistro which is included. Ideally you want to stay in the Alsace region. I can offer many tips on places to stay. This tour is also a possible day trip from Germany (Heidelberg, Mainz, Pfalz region) ..Pick up from Frankfurt is possible ( additional transfer fee of of €160 applies).
