Discover the Wunderbar world of a German Christmas market Starting from Mainz we are not far from the stunning Rhein valley and its historic wine villages along the Rhine . We will take a Riesling road trip along the Rhein passing vineyard views and quaint villages as it curves its way down to Ruedesheim. Along the way, we will stop at award-winning, historically significant and high-quality German vineyards and wineries. You will experience and taste examples along the way of Germany wine history and traditions . With many opportunities to swirl, sniff and slurp German Sparkling, mostly dry Riesling and other top varieties in personal tasting guided by the makers. With all those tastings we will need to stay balanced with a stop to try local tasty treats at a small village Christmas market. Tour Highlights: * Hotel pick up and drop off Mainz area.
